The Ageless Brain – SaSo Wellness Series

The next Community Connection Event at SaSo will be at 6:30pm on Nov 6th. It will be led by Nichole Baker who is a seasoned Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in brain injury, illness, and health. The title of her Seminar is The Ageless Brain. She’ll discuss how we can improve brain function and wellbeing throughout our lifespan.

Nichole Baker, OTR/L – Owner of Brain Evolution Therapy, LLC Nichole is a seasoned Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in brain injury, illness, and health. As the owner of Brain Evolution Therapy for the past 4.5 years, Nichole has dedicated their career to enhancing the quality of life for individuals affected by neurological conditions and those wishing to optimize brain health. With a holistic approach, Nichole integrates nutrition and various complementary practices into her therapeutic practice, recognizing the profound impact that overall wellness can have on brain function.Nichole is passionate about empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to maintain cognitive health throughout their lifespan.

The Ageless Brain – In this presentation we’ll explore the crucial intersection of brain health and aging. Cognitive decline is often seen as an inevitable part of aging, but research shows that lifestyle choices throughout our lifespan, particularly in nutrition and integrative practices, play a pivotal role in maintaining brain health. In this presentation, we will discuss the impact of various factors such as diet, physical activity, stress and mental engagement on cognitive function, and practical strategies for fostering a healthier brain. Together, we will uncover ways to support and enhance brain health throughout the lifespan, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives with optimal cognitive resilience.
