CB State of Mind’s press team loves working with journalists around the world to share the compelling stories and examples of what our nonprofit is currently working on to to connect our community to resources, education and free counseling scholarships to improve mental wellness, eliminate stigma and lower the rate of suicide in the Gunnison Valley. Together with our community, CB State of Mind is working to address the growing mental health crisis.

Christine Osmundson

MA, LPC, CBSOM Founding Board Member

Christine Osmundson, MA, LPC, is the current President of the Board Of Directors and one of the founding board members of CB State of Mind. Christine has a Master’s degree in Psychology from NYU and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 22 years experience in psychiatric inpatient care, crisis intervention, private practice, community mental health, Department of Youth Corrections, and residential and day treatment school programs in Chicago, NYC, Lake Tahoe, Santa Fe and Denver. She has a deep passion for this community and finding creative ways towards improving Mental Health in the Gunnison Valley. She is dedicated to furthering CBSOM’s mission and honored to work with our community volunteers and partners that makes CBSOM a success.

Jodi Zatorski

MSW, CBSOM Founding board member

Jodi Zatorski, MSW is the current Vice President of the Board Of Directors and one of the founding board members of CB State of Mind. With a background in psychology and social work, advocating for access to affordable mental health care is a true passion and natural fit. With years of experience as a caseworker in child protection for social services, she has a wide array of experience in child and family mental health services, sexual abuse treatment, domestic violence treatment, adoption services and the licensing and management of foster care in the State of Colorado.

Meghan Dougherty

CBSOM Executive Director

Prior to accepting the position of Executive Director of CB State of Mind, Meghan coordinated the Family Advocacy Support Team for the past 10 years. In this leadership role she was responsible for developing and maintaining a framework for the coordination of multiple community agencies to design innovative systems to meet the needs of our community, use resources creatively and responsibly, and delivered life changing results. She brings experience in managing multiple federal, state, and local funding streams that allow for a coordinated community structure to ensure community voice and continuous improvement. Meghan is passionate about creating innovative ways to reduce stigma, increase access to care, and improve the emotional health of our community. Meghan has a master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and is currently working on her clinical license. Her background includes community prevention, clinical mental health, school social work, program management, and providing direct service to vulnerable populations. Meghan has lived in Crested Butte for 16 years. She has two children in the Crested Butte Community School. She enjoys getting outside as a family and taking advantage of everything this unique community has to offer. I am excited to grow CB State of Mind’s mission and to work with the many community partners that can make this new organization a huge success.
