Rural Health Month: Mental Health and Substance Use Education

In partnership with Western Colorado University, we are excited to announce that we will host a day of education and connection as part of Rural Health Month, which occurs every November.
On Friday, November 13th, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30pm at the Gunnison Library, we will host a variety of educational sessions that include topics that explore mental health, substance use, trauma-informed practices for those working in law enforcement and the judicial system, strategies for supporting our youth, and strengthening local resources. We will have a variety of experts speaking on these topics, and attached you can find a document that describes each session in more detail.
Breakfast and lunch will be served, so please use the link to register if you plan on attending.
