I’m really glad you’re here! My name is Zachary (Zack) Halpern, and I’m a therapist who shows up first and foremost as a real person, someone who identifies as a cis, Jewish man, a lifelong learner, and someone who deeply values bringing people together.
I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying things on your own or when the conflicts in your closest relationships leave you feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in the same painful patterns. Therapy with me isn’t about me “fixing” you. It’s about creating a space where you don’t have to try to figure out all of life’s challenges alone.
In our work together, we’ll sit with every part of your story; your day-to-day struggles, your relationship conflicts, your history, and even the pieces of yourself that feel out of reach right now. . We won’t sweep the hard stuff aside. Instead, we’ll face it together with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based strategies you can take into your daily life and relationships. My role is to earn your trust, walk beside you, collaborate with you to be sure we are using the best interventions to support you, and help you see the strength you already carry even in the parts that feel messy, complicated, or overwhelming.
If you’ve been craving a space to finally feel seen, whether as an individual wanting to understand yourself more deeply, or as a couple longing to reconnect, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll usually find me running, tending my garden, or making music with friends. I draw inspiration from wild, natural places and from the love and support of my community.
