Working with folks in the outdoor industry/seasonal employment, outdoor trauma, grief, & loss, young folks with chronic pain/chronic injury, queer folks

Hello! I’m a therapist located in Durango, CO, and I work with folks virtually throughout the region. I have lived and worked in several Colorado mountain towns, and understand both the challenges and the joys this brings.

Therapy with me can support you in moving from surviving to thriving. I aim to support your shift into more resilient states and to discover more ease in your daily life. Populations I specialize in include those between the ages of 20-40, queer folks, people who have experienced outdoor trauma, grief, or loss, young people with chronic pain, and those in life transitions.

My therapeutic approach uses a strengths-based, relational, and holistic lens. My work is informed by Somatic Experiencing, Parts Work, IFS, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment Theory. I utilize creative-based, experiential, and somatic interventions as ways for my clients to feel into and embody new ways of being.

There is no wrong way to come to therapy. We will collaboratively figure out the approach that will be the most helpful for you. As a therapist, I value authenticity and non-judgment, an approach that is central to my practice, as I have personally experienced the challenge and transformation that therapy can bring.
