Kenzie L.P. Valladolid, MA, LPC, NCC, is the owner and lead therapist at Crystal Canyon Counseling Services, LLC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Colorado University in 2014 with a double major in Psychology (Clinical Mental Health emphasis) and Sociology (Criminal Justice emphasis), and later completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University in 2022. Kenzie has lived and worked in the Gunnison community for over 15 years,, including serving as a Victim Advocate with Project Hope, supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Kenzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and an Associate-Level Approved Provider through both the Colorado Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) and the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB), providing treatment to court-involved clients as well as individuals seeking personal growth and emotional healing. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, accountability, and developing meaningful insight.
Outside the office, Kenzie is also a photographer and enjoys spending time outdoors, capturing evening and nighttime landscapes, cheering on college football and being with her family.
