Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.  She has been practicing for over 20 years in the counseling field in a variety of settings including wilderness-based therapy, community mental health, and private practice.   Erin’s approach is based on balancing acceptance with change.  Her work involves improving your capacity to experience each moment more fully and to act consistently with what really matters to you.  She comes from a trauma-informed modality and will draw upon various approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered, and experiential.  She may also include psycho-education in areas such as effective communication in relationships, regulation of emotions, and other presenting problems.  Erin currently works with children, ages 12 years old and up, as well as young adults, adults, couples, and families.  Her specialties include trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, school and work-related issues, relational problems, family conflict, substance abuse, and many others.  She is dedicated to helping her clients find a pathway to healing and creating a life of fulfillment and meaning.
