CBSoM Mission
Our mission at CB State of Mind is to connect our community to resources, education, and free counseling scholarships to improve mental wellness, eliminate stigma, and lower the rate of suicide in the Gunnison Valley.
How We Help
WE AIM TO CONNECT
There are so many services being provided in the valley and across the county, we serve the community by connecting them with the right resources for their needs rather than helping them directly.
CREATED BY THE COMMUNITY, FOR THE COMMUNITY
Our community is unique in the way that we all show up for each other. Rather than our connections feeling forced or governmental, we ensure all our community collaboration feels organic, supportive, compassionate, and aligned with overall Gunnison Valley values.
A HUB FOR RESOURCES
Our commitment to being a central source of knowledge, tools, and support, empowering our community with the information and resources they need to thrive in their mental health journey is at the core of every engagement.
What We Do
EXPAND ACCESS
Increase access to mental health support services for all individuals in the community, both those needing help and those looking to help others.
RAISE AWARENESS
Educate the community about mental wellness and the importance of seeking help and where to find resources.
STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Build strong community partnerships to support mental health initiatives that also help to normalize dialogue around mental health.
Why it Matters
