mental health for you, me, and everyone.
When life is feeling hard, sometimes what you need is some support from someone who has lived experience. Peer support is a give and take relationship that helps lift people up when they are feeling low. Whether it is a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, someone to go on a walk with, peer support can make all the difference.
GVH Peer Support Specialist Services: Peer support specialists are people with lived behavioral health experience who use their personal recovery experiences as a means to help others. They partner with clients to attain recovery goals and provide connection to community resources. To learn more or to get started, call 970-648-7128 or email behavioralhealth@gvh-colorado.org
