Mental Health Crisis Response Services
When things feel like they are crashing down around you and you have nowhere to turn, you are not alone. When it seems like nothing will go right, there are people that can help. Sometimes we just need to talk to someone who can help us think through or talk through these tough times and help us understand that this too will pass.
- Call 911 if a person in mental health crisis is behaving violently, has a weapon, has ingested something that is potentially dangerous, is bleeding or incurring property damage. Let dispatch know that this is a mental health emergency and ask for the mobile crisis therapist to be dispatched.
- Call Colorado Crisis Services Hotline 844-493-TALK (8255) or text TALK to 38255
- Go to the GVH Emergency Room in Gunnison: 711 N Taylor St, Gunnison, CO 81230. Located at the hospital off Denver and Iowa Streets. Emergency drop-off parking is located directly outside of the emergency entrance. Open 24/7.
