I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is the agent of change in therapy. Making the decision to come to therapy can feel like a big step and my goal is to support parents who are the experts in their children, to learn new skills to support their child. I take a humanistic approach and value the unique strengths that each client and family bring to therapy. As a clinician who specializes in working with children, I keep in mind something one of my most cherished mentors would always say: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto others.”

I am a clinical social worker and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work where I focused on early childhood and family therapy. I have training in child development, attachment theory, play therapy, mindfulness, infant and child-parent psychotherapy, perinatal and postpartum transitions, mind-body techniques and trauma-focused interventions.

In my free time I enjoy biking, hiking, and spending time with my partner and friends outdoors or in my garden. I also enjoy making art, playing games, and baking sourdough bread.
